Miss A's Fei to Star in Chinese Spin-off of "We Got Married," called "If You Love Me"
Miss A’s Fei will be starring in a new Chinese version of “We Got Married,” called “If You Love Me” (working English title). A JYP Entertainment official said on April 7 to OBS, “Last month, Fei finished up shooting for the second episode of the Chinese version of ‘We Got Married.’”
A Chinese “We Got Married” special was produced in 2012 as a celebration of 20 years of Korean-Chinese diplomatic relations, and was hugely popular, starring Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and T-ara’s Hyomin. Receiving a lot of support from all over the world, the show as a whole was given the official English name of “We Got Married.”
The new show, “If You Love Me,” a spin-off of the highly popular Korean variety show, has a similar concept, but is centered on dating rather than marriage.
Fei’s fantasy partner on the show is Taiwanese actor/model Sunny Wang (Wang Yang Ming). Sunny Wang was born in Taiwan but attended university in the United States, and is fluent in both Chinese and English.
Currently, Fei is in Beijing, having recently attended Jackie Chan’s 60th birthday party.
