After School’s Jooyeon in Wedding Dress for Upcoming Drama

The production team of MBC’s new Wednesday – Thursday drama, “A New Leaf,” revealed behind-the-scenes images of After School’s Joohyun on April 15.

In the drama, Jooyeon plays Mi Ri, the leading female character Ji Yoon’s (Park Min Young) best friend. Through her character, Ji Yoon and Seok Joo (Kim Myung Min) meet for the first time. Ji Yoon and Seok Joo are invited to Mi Ri’s wedding, and it is where their strange connection begins. 

Jooyeon recently dressed in a wedding dress and transformed into an April bride for the filming of the drama. She seemed timid about wearing a wedding dress. However, she extended her greetings to her fellow cast members and setting a positive mood on set. She seemed to feel awkward about taking wedding photos for the drama, but she smiled shining like an April bride. 

“A New Leaf” portrays the story of a lawyer, Seok Joo, who loses his memory after an accident and how he learns to live a new life after self-reflection. The drama premieres April 23 at 10 PM, KST.
