Girls' Generation Member Sunny to Join Baekhyun, Onew, and Kyuhyun in "Singin' in the Rain"

Girls’ Generation member Sunny will be working alongside fellow agency artists Baekhyun (EXO), Onew (SHINee), and Kyuhyun (Super Junior) in the musical “Singin’ in the Rain.” She will play the main female role of Kathy Selden, a character who dreams of becoming a musical actress. Sunny has been participating in practices for the musical since the first of this month, working hard to perfect her performance.

“Singin’ in the Rain” is a musical adaptation of the 1952 movie of the same name, famous for the scene in which the male lead tap dances in the rain with an umbrella. It was first made as a musical in London in 1983, and has since been hugely popular all over the world.

The play will be on from June 5 through August 3 at the Chungmu Art Hall in Seoul.
