“Angel Eyes” Hits Highest Viewer Rating Yet

SBS’ weekend drama “Angel Eyes” surpassed 10% viewer ratings for the first time since it aired.

According to Nielsen Korea, the April 26 broadcast of “Angel Eyes,” recorded a rating of 10.8%. The fifth episode displayed a 2.8% increase compared to last week’s episode of 8.0%. The premiere of “Angel Eyes” started off with a 6.6% viewer rating and has continued to climb with every episode.

Meanwhile, in the same time slot, MBC’s “Hotel King” recorded a rating of 8.2%. This shows a 2.4% drop from last week’s 11.6%, being overtaken by “Angel Eyes.”

On the April 26 episode of “Angel Eyes,” Yoon Soo Wan (played by Goo Hye Sun) came to the realization that the character of Dylan Park is actually her first love from 12 years ago, Park Dong Joo (Lee Sang Yoon).
