Actors Lee Min Ki and Park Sung Woong Show Off Their Intense Charisma for Marie Claire
The director of “For the Emperor,” Park Sang Joon, created this action noir film set in Busan about two men who each dream of becoming an “emperor” by their own right in a world of betting games.
The pictorial, released in the May issue of Marie Claire, captures these two men and the dramatic transformations they make in their acting for the movie. Lee Min Ki plays the role of Lee Hwan, a former baseball player who dreams of a better life when he hits rock bottom after getting caught participating in sports betting, which leads him to get involved with illegal gambling. Park Sung Woong’s character, Sang Ha, is the boss of the greatest private loan ring in Busan.
Actress Lee Tae Im will also be starring alongside Lee Min Ki and Park Sung Woong in this highly anticipated movie about money, ambition, and desire.
“For the Emperor” will be opening in theaters on June 12.
