Lee Min Ki and Park Sung Woong Team Up for Action-Noir Movie “For the Emperor”

The teaser posters and trailer for upcoming movie “For the Emperor” have been released.

Expectations are rising for the Lee Min Ki–Park Sung Woong duo in the soon-to-be released film “For the Emperor,” which is the latest work of production company Opus Pictures – the makers of “The Man From Nowhere” and  “Snowpiercer.”

Released on May 2, the black and white teaser posters display the actors’ powerful and intense presence. Lee Min Ki’s explosive energy and Park Sung Woong’s calm yet sharp expression show their own distinctive charismatic appeal.

In the film, Lee Min Ki’s character, Lee Hwan lives a pitiful life while Park Sung Woong’s character, Sang Ha leads Busan’s greatest bonds organization, “Imperial Capital.” Actress Lee Tae Im will be playing the lead female as a sexy and seductive CEO. Moviegoers’ curiosity is increasing as the trailer hints at an intense and compelling storyline about two men who must win in order to survive, as they dream of becoming “emperors” in a world of gambling and betting.
