Rainbow's Jaekyung Reveals Steps to Glowing Skin and Pretty Lips on "Get It Beauty Self"

Jaekyung of Rainbow has proven that her makeup skills are just as polished as expected.

The idol is well known for her great interest in beauty and makeup. She has confessed to carrying up to seven pouches filled with beauty products with her, and she has revealed her makeup collection consists of over 300 products. While the idol has been praised for her artistic touch even prior to becoming an MC of OnStyle’s popular beauty show “Get It Beauty,” she has finally given a demonstration of two beautiful makeup looks that are perfect for the hot and humid summer.

Both of the looks go under the title “One-point makeup that makes your skin stand out.” The first look puts emphasis on healthy-looking and naturally dewy skin. To block UV radiation that harms the skin during the bright summer days, she uses a BB cream with strong sun protection properties, and spreads it smoothly following the texture of her skin. Next, she uses a pen-type highlighting concealer to brighten up her eye and forehead areas. This step helps to lighten up the face and make her face appear more dimensional. Finally, she applies a baby pink lip gloss on her lips with just a few quick sweeps.

The second look focuses on fresh skin makeup and lips with a splash of color. For a more matte base, she uses a compact foundation to gently cover up her imperfections, focusing on her forehead and chin to highlight the areas. Next, she fills up her eyebrows and applies a coat of black mascara with a zigzag movement that helps curl and volumize the lashes. She finishes off the look with a hot pink lip color, which she applies by making three dots on her lips and then blending in the color for a natural gradient effect.
