BEAST’s “Showtime” Returns to Broadcast + Junhyung is Forced to Reveal His Home

BEAST’s Junhyung reveals his “bachelor pad” on the May 8 episode of MBC’s “Showtime – Burning the BEAST.” After three weeks of being off the air, BEAST’s variety show has resumed broadcast to show Junhyung’s house as well as his English Bulldog Hyungnim.

Hyungnim, who has been introduced to fans through Junhyung’s SNS posts, will compete with Yoseob’s chihuahua Yang Gaeng in a battle to see whose pet has more charms. Yang Gaeng has been gaining popularity after previously appearing on MBC’s “I Live Alone” with Yoseob and already has a fan cafe with over 6,000 members.

Hyungnim brought laughter as he ignored and rebelled against his owner, with a careless expression on his face. After witnessing Junhyung desperately trying to call after his dog multiple times to no avail, member Doojoon joked, “It seems like the pet and the owner are switched in this situation,” causing everyone to laugh.

In the same episode, Junhyung’s home was revealed on television for the first time. According to a producer of the show, Junhyung was extremely caught off guard by his group members’ sudden arrival at his home.

The BEAST members couldn’t hold back their amazement upon entering Junhyung’s house. The members examined every corner of the house saying, “This place is unbelievable. It seems like a celebrity’s house,” showing their envy.

MBC’s “Showtime – Burning the BEAST” will air at 6 PM (KST) on May 8.
