EXO-M Wins No.1 in a Landslide Victory on Chinese Music Program with "Overdose"
On CCTV‘s “Global Chinese Music Chart” broadcasted on May 10, SM Entertainment‘s popular boy group EXO-M tasted victory by coming in first with “Overdose.”
“Global Chinese Music Chart” is China’s first music rank program that started airing in March. From Monday to Friday they take in ARS votes, online votes, music site sales, as well as live text votes and live QR code votes during the show. As the number one title heavily depends on the voting by fans, EXO-M’s win confirmed the boy group’s popularity in China.
EXO-M also made an appearance on the show, performing “Overdose.”
EXO will be holding their large scale comeback show “EXO The Second Mini Album Comeback Show” in Shanghai on May 11, which is garnering a lot of attention from Chinese fans.
