Shin Sung Rok Is Considered for a Role in "Trot Lovers"

Amid reports of actor Shin Sung Rok joiningthe upcoming KBS 2TV Monday-Tuesday drama “Trot Lovers,” the representative of the drama clarifies that the rumors are not totally true.

At a phone interview with OSEN on the afternoon of May 12, a representative from “Trot Lovers” said, “It is correct that we are currently discussing Shin Sung Rok’s participation in the drama but we haven’t finalized anything regarding that yet.”

After perfectly portraying the role of a sociopath in “Man from the Stars,” Shin Sung Rok is ready to show a new side of himself in the upcoming projects that he will take on. If he will take the role in “Trot Lovers,” it would be four months since his last appearance on the television.

In “Trot Lovers,” Shin Sung Rok is offered the role of Jo Geun Woo, a skilled representative of a visual agency.

“Trot Lovers” is a romantic comedy series about Jang Joon Hyun, a top star musician who looks down on trot, and Choi Choon Hee, a girl who can’t live without trot.

Currently, Ji Hyun Woo is confirmed to star in the drama which will follow “Big Man” and is expected to air this June.
