Jung Woo Sung and Kim Ha Neul Confirmed for Upcoming Melodrama Film
Two of the hottest top stars Jung Woo Sung and Kim Ha Neul have been confirmed to work together in a new film called “Don’t Forget Me” (working title), which will start production in the middle of May.
“Don’t Forget Me” is about a man who loses his memory after an accident and without knowing anything about his own past, falls in love with a new woman. The film draws out the couple as the man slowly recovers his erased memory of the past 10 years.
The film will be directed by Lee Yoon Jung, who has been accoladed in the 2011 Mise-en-scene’s Short Film Festival, LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, New York City International Film Festival and the San Diego Asian Film Festival. “Don’t Forget Me” has been garnering much attention ever since Jung Woo Sung was confirmed to be the male lead.
Jung Woo Sung will play the role of Suk Won, a lawyer who loses his memory and falls in love. Jung Woo Sung and Kim Ha Neul will be acting together in a heart-wrenching melodrama with deep emotions.
Kim Ha Neul has been rising as a top actress especially since she won the Best Female Actress award at the Blue Dragon Awards for her outstanding portrayal of a blind woman in “Blind,” and her 2012 success in “Gentleman’s Dignity.” Kim Ha Neul will be returning to the big screen for the first time in three years through “Don’t Forget Me.” She will be playing a woman who falls in love with Suk Won at first sight but struggles with the fact that he has lost his memory.
This will be the first time that Jung Woo Sung and Kim Ha Neul work together and many are already anticipating on their level of chemistry.
