“Star Gazing,” New Variety Show with Kang Ho Dong, Set to Air in June
A new MBC entertainment show titled “Star Gazing” has been confirmed to start airing in June, fronted by variety show star and former sports personality Kang Ho Dong.
A pilot for the show was aired in early May, and got a positive viewer reaction, leading the television network to decide to go ahead with a full series. The program will feature public interaction with celebrities, many of which come from the world of K-Pop. It will air on Thursdays on MBC at 11 p.m. KST.
MBC will also be launching two new variety shows, entitled “Love Test,” which will feature SHINee’s Minho, and “Back to School,” with Park Myung Soo and Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha.
“Star Gazing” will go head-to-head with rival variety shows, such as KBS2’s “Happy Together 3,” and SBS’ “Honey,” which also air at the same time on Thursdays.
