Sunny of Girls' Generation Debuts as Songwriter and Composer in "FM Date"

Girls’ Generation’s Sunny adds “writer” and “composer” to her resume as she wrote and composed the logo song to her new radio show, “FM Date” on MBC FM4U.

Sunny’s self-written and composed song was first heard on the third part of her radio show, “FM Date,” that first aired last May 12.

“The song you have listened to just now is a song that I personally wrote and composed for ‘FM Date,'” said Sunny, introducing the song to her listeners. “My mental (state) that had barely recovered has just collapsed,” said Sunny who was too shy to show her work.

“FM Date” is Sunny’s third radio show, following her previous regular guesting stint with Kim Shin Young in “Shim Shim Tapa” and being co-DJ with Super Junior’s Sungmin for nine months in the DMB radio program, “Chunji Radio.” In “FM Date,” she is joined by her friend gagwoman Ahn Young Mi.

Listen to “FM Date” every day from 8 – 10 p.m. (KST) at MBC FM4U (Seoul/Gyeonggi 91.9 MHz). Listeners outside Korea can also listen through MBC’s internet radio “Mini.”
