Music Core 05.17.14 Performances – Comeback Stages by EXO-K, Wheesung, and Others, Debut by Hyosung and BTL

MBC‘s “Music Core” returned to the air last week for the first time after three weeks of canceled shows following the Sewol ferry incident in April, and featured largely subdued ballads in lieu of bright and upbeat songs.

This week, “Music Core” has returned to its normal routine, with comeback stages by EXO-K, Wheesung, G.NA, 4Men, and Junggigo.

Also on the show this week were two debut stages: one by Secret’s Hyosung, making her first solo debut with performances of “I Hate Night Time” and “Good-Night Kiss,” and one by the new nine-member boy group BTL (Beyond the Limit), with their song “Too-G.”

The battle for first place in this weeks episode was between Baek Ji Young, with “Fervor,” EXO-K with “Overdose,” and g.o.d with “Ugly Duckling.”

First place went to EXO-K, who also took first in last week’s “Show Champion” and “M!Countdown,” for their third win so far. 

EXO-K leader Suho, this time accompanied by his team members on stage, said, “We would like to share this honor with our fellow EXO-M members. To our fans, who have faith and trust in us, thank you and we love you. Thanks to Lee Soo Man and our parents. Once again, thanks to all of our fans. We exist because of you.”
