"Gapdong" Hits Highest Viewer Ratings Yet on May 17

Cable channel tvN’s crime drama “Gapdong” has recorded its highest ratings yet.

According to the data collected by ratings agency TNms, the tenth episode showed a 1 percentage point (pp) increase in ratings compared to the ninth one, recording an average of 2.5%. In the capital area, the popularity of “Gapdong” has increased even more, as the ratings have gone up 1.7 pp, hitting an average of 3.4%.

The drama has proven to be a hit among women in their 30s and 40s, with the latest episode drawing in 3.6% and 2.8% of the potential viewers. 

In the latest episode, the viewers were once again met with confusion in regards to the real identity of Gapdong. While Park Ho Seok bluntly confessed that he is Gapdong, other characters are yet to take him seriously and continue to seek for the real killer.

“Gapdong” starring Yoon Sang Hyun, Kim Min Jung, and Lee Joon airs on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:40pm (KST).
