Comedienne Shin Bora Debuts as Actress through "Trot Lovers"
Comedienne Shin Bora will make her acting debut in the upcoming KBS 2TV Monday-Tuesday drama, “Trot Lovers,” where she will act alongside A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji and fresh-out-of-the-army actor Ji Hyun Woo.
In “Trot Lovers,” Shin Bora will play the role of Na Pil Nyeo, the senior of Choi Chun Hee (Jung Eun Ji) who has trained in the agency Shine Star for ten years. She acts as a rough senior to Choi Chun Hee in the beginning but later becomes her reliable friend.
Shin Bora, who has experience showing her wits and excellent singing in variety and music shows, will try her hand at being an all-around entertainer with her debut as an actress.
“Shin Bora has the singing capability that fits the role of a prospective singer with a ten year training background. She also has a kind of charm that gives her unlimited possibilities as an actress,” says a representative from the drama, “Trot Lovers.”
“Shin Bora’s enthusiasm for the project and the role is amazing. We hope for the viewers’ interest and support,” the representative added.
“Trot Lovers” depicts the love story between star musician Jang Joon Hyun (Ji Hyun Woo), who looks down on trot, and Choi Chun Hee (Jung Eun Ji), a young lady who puts all her hope on dreams on trot. The romantic comedy will show various incidents that will display the sweet love and growth of the characters. It will be shown after “Big Man” in June.
