Hong Kyung Min is Getting Married to a Haegeum Musician 10 Years His Junior
Singer Hong Kyung Min will get married sometime in October or November of this year, according to insiders.
His soon-to-be-bride is Kim Yuna, a haegeum (Korean traditional instrument) player who graduated from the prestigious Korea National University of Arts.
Kim Yuna has previously appeared on the March 1 broadcast of “Immortal Songs 2” with Hong Kyung Min, accompanying him on her haegum during his performance of “Alone Arirang.” (Watch the performance here.)
One insider stated, “Hong Kyung Min and Kim Yuna met as musicians and had a lot in common,” adding that they are “a beautiful, supportive couple.”
Hong Kyung Min, currently 38, debuted in 1997 with album “Dedicate“, and has since released over 10 albums. As a versatile entertainer, he has also appeared in various variety shows and dramas. Recently, he released a single titled “To My Last Love” in April.
