Super Junior’s Kangin and Eunhyuk to Join Baek Jin Hee as “Dream Concert” MCs
Organized by the Korea Entertainment Producer’s Association, the Dream Concert is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and the lineup boasts some of K-pop’s most well-loved groups. The likes of Girls’ Generation, EXO, BEAST, 4Minute and BlockB, as well as many others, will be performing at the event, and all the proceeds from the tickets will be donated to charities that deal with providing education to the poor.
The concert’s slogan is “Cheer up Korea,” and its organizers say that it is also intended as a sort of support event ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, with the Korean national team set to play in the competition.
Baek Jin Hee is currently starring in the MBC drama “Triangle,” and made a name for herself in the series “Empress Ki.” The “Dream Concert” will be the first time she has presented at an event of this sort, although the Super Junior members already have a good track record as MCs, having taken part in similar events in the past.
