Singer Lee Moon Sae to Undergo Operations for Thyroid Cancer Recurrence

Well-known and much-loved singer Lee Moon Sae announced on June 3 that he will be undergoing operations again for thyroid cancer.

He said, “Operations for thyroid cancer? Yes, correct. I’ll be going under operations again in July. In March, doctors told me that they found something again and wanted to go through operations. I told them if it’s not serious I’d like to have the operations after my concert schedule.”

He added, “It’s not good news, but it’s not something to be really worried about. I was careful with telling this because I didn’t want to worry anyone, but seems like nothing’s secret in the world.”

He also said, “Anyway, don’t be worried. You know me. People living and dying isn’t under my control, right? My only duty right now is to finish the remaining concerts with my best, get the operations, and return healthy once again.”

Previously, Lee Moon Sae first had operations to remove the thyroid cancer in 2007. He will be undergoing operations again this coming July.

Meanwhile, Lee Moon Sae is on an international tour, visiting USA, Canada, and Australia.
