Shim Eun Jin Cast in "The Night Watchman"

Actress Shim Eun Jin has been cast in the upcoming MBC drama “The Nightwatch Man” as Okmae.

“The Nightwatch Man,” scheduled to start broadcasting in July, is a fantasy romance drama about the conflict between those fighting against ghosts, those who deny the existence of ghosts and those who try to use ghosts.

Shim Eun Jin’s character Okmae is the owner of an inn, charming with a glamorous figure. Shim Eun Jin has previously appeared in many dramas such as “Dae Jo Young,” “Stars Lover,” “Swallow The Sun,” and “Can Love Become Money?” in a variety of roles. She’s currently the female lead in the stage production of “All About My Wife.”

“The Nightwatch Man” will start airing after the completion of current MBC Monday-Tuesday drama “Triangle” in July. It will star Jung Il Woo, TVXQ’s Jung Yunho, Go Sung Hee, Seo Ye Ji and Yoon Tae Young alongside Shim Eun Jin.
