Air Date for "Idol Futsal World Cup" Announced

MBC‘s World Cup special program “Idol Futsal World Cup” will be airing on June 12, the day before the commencement of the 2014 Brazil World Cup!

According to an announcement made by a representative from MBC, “Idol Futsal World Cup” will be aired on June 12 at 11pm. The opening ceremony of the World Cup will be broadcast in Korea on June 13, and this special program is hoping to garner more excitement for the actual World Cup games.

“Idol Futsal World Cup” will be approximately 100 minutes in length. The recording for this special broadcast took place on May 26 with many idols in attendance. The male idols will be participating in the Futsal games, while the female idols will be cheerleading. There will also be a “world league” during the broadcast that will feature non-idol celebrities.

Kim Sung Joo, Lee Byung Jin, Kim Jung Geun, Shindong of Super Junior, Jo Se Ho and Nam Chang Hee will be MCing the program, while Lee Chang Hwan and Seo Hyung Wook will be in charge of commentary.
