Daesung Begins His Solo Japanese Tour, Performs in Front of 34,000 Fans

Daesung of popular boy group Big Bang has officially kicked off his Japanese solo arena tour. 

On June 11 and June 12, Daesung started his Japanese tour “D-Lite DLive 2014 in Japan – D’slove” in the Yokohama Arena. 

Between the two shows, Daesung managed to bring together 34000 fans. As Daesung has taken charge of all the aspects of his tour as a producer, this was a great victory for him as a solo artist. 

During the concerts he showed his versatility, performing various genres, ranging from ballads, dance, to medium tempo. He also performed his new emotional ballad track “Rainy Rainy” for the first time at the concerts, which moved many fans to tears. 

Daesung released his new ballad single “Rainy Rainy” on June 11 in Japan and was able to reach number one on the general album chart on iTunes Japan

Daesung’s solo tour will consist of 15 shows in eight different cities in Japan, and is expected to draw a total of 170,000 fans.
