SM Artists Heat Up 2014 Hong Kong Dome Festival

SMTOWN fans in Hong Kong don’t need to wait until August for the SM Town Tour because their favorite SM artists will be coming to them earlier this summer to perform at the “2014 Hong Kong Dome Festival” on July 1.

For the past years, BoA and f(x) have joined the festival, and this year, they’re bringing with them more SM artists including Super Junior M, EXO-K, INFINITE, and Tasty. The unit groups D&E (Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk) and ToHeart (INFINITE’s Woohyun and SHINee’s Key) will also be performing.

While the event drew a lot of controversy for staging on the same day as the annual pro-democracy protest in Hong Kong, the organizers are pushing through with the event as they did last year. According to Hong Kong’s PIA, the first staging of the Hong Kong Dome Festival featuring BoA, SHINee, f(x), Henry, and EXO gathered over 20,000 fans. However, because of strong winds and heavy rain, the fans who attended experienced a lot of inconvenience during the show.
