Kollaboration LA to Hold 15th Annual Show This Week

Kollaboration Los Angeles‘ 15th annual talent showcase is set to take place on June 26 at the Troubadour in Hollywood.

With the slogan “Empowerment Through Entertainment,” Kollaboartion has been a driving force in helping underrepresented Asian American entertainers gain recognition.

Just like last year, the winner of Kollaboration LA will have a chance to participate in Kollaboration Star later this year and compete against other Kollaboration winners from this year’s eight participating cities.

This year’s finalists:
The Primaries – Unconventional R&B/soul collective and previous opening act for soul singer Dwele.
#Fourty4B – A cappela group, winner of UCI’s Soulstice Talent Competition, LA Regional Harmony Sweepstakes champions in 20144.
Julianne Manalo – Singer/songwriter, finalist on American Idol’s “Hollywood Week,” past opener for hip-hop chart-topper Macklemore, and a regular performer at the House of Blues.
Phanith Sovann – Singer/songwriter, pianist, and humanitarian. Talent winner of Miss Global International Pagent in 2013.
Julynn Kim – Singer/songwriter. Worked with Atlantic Records and scouted by Universal, Warner, and Sony.
