More Stills of Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk on the Set of “Fated to Love You”
The premiere of MBC’s upcoming Wed-Thurs drama “Fated to Love You” is around the corner and more stills have been released featuring the leads Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk. It’s been twelve years since their last joint project “Successful Story of a Bright Girl” back in 2002.
The released stills show the two practicing their lines and monitoring their filmed scenes with the staff.
Jang Hyuk plays the role of Lee Gun who has everything from looks, wealth and the perfect girlfriend. However, the fact that he has no future is what’s getting in the way of him becoming the perfect man. Through a coincidental incident, he meets Jang Nara and their romance begins.
Jang Nara’s character Kim Mi Young is a girl with ordinary looks and education who’s from a small island. Her normal life gets twisted when she travels to Macao and becomes like Cinderella.
“Fated to Love You” is a remake of a 2008 Taiwanese drama of the same name. The drama achieved historically high average ratings of 10%, with peak ratings hitting 14.6%, in Taiwan. This would be equivalent to a rating of 70% in Korea. The drama will be produced by Number Three Pictures (“Arang and the Magistrate”) and directed by Lee Dong Yoon (“Queen’s Classroom,” “The Greatest Love”).
Meanwhile, the first episode of “Fated to Love You” will air on July 2 at 10 p.m. (KST).
