Park Yoo Chun's Japanese Fanclub Donates 6.6 Million Won to World Vision

Fans of JYJ‘s Park Yoo Chun have come together to donate for a good cause.

On June 4, his Japanese fan club named 6002ism (Yoochunism) held an event to celebrate the idol’s birthday. Through a charity auction, the fans were able to purchase Park Yoo Chun’s personal items and the money raised was delivered to those in need.

The fan club raised 6,667,240 won (~6,667 USD) through the event, and were thus able to purchase 2,200 lunchboxes that were donated under the idol’s name to World Vision‘s “The Lunchbox of Love” project.

Since the year 2000, World Vision has handed out nutritious meals to children living in families suffering from poverty. The lunchboxes include three side dishes and are filling enough to act as a dinner.

In related new, “Sea Fog” starring Park Yoo Chun will premiere on August 13.
