FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki to Star as Dracula in New Musical “Vampire”
According to FTISLAND’s agency, FNC Entertainment on July 1, Lee Hong Ki has been cast as the lead role of ‘Dracula’ in a musical called “Vampire.” This will be Lee Hong Ki’s return to the musical stage after five years, since starring in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in 2009.
The FTISLAND member has mentioned in the past, “I really like Dracula. I want to try a Dracula role,” which is why his casting for this musical is receiving a lot of interest in particular. He has even dressed up as Dracula and performed on stage last November for FTISLAND’s Zepp Tour, proving his love for the character.
The musical “Vampire” will be opening in August at Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo. Lee Hong Ki will be participating in a total of seven shows, including multiple performances on August 10-12 and August 19-20.
