Younha Tops Music Charts with New Solo Version of “Umbrella”

Singer Younha’s new single, “Umbrella,” has been topping charts on eight different music sites for two consecutive days since its release.

The song, which was revealed on July 2, in celebration of the singer’s 10^th anniversary since her debut, has continued to sweep first on eight major music sites including Melon, Genie, Olle Music, Soribada, Bugs, Monkey 3, Mnet, and Naver Music.

When “Umbrella” was first released in 2008, it was one of the songs included in Epik High’s fifth album, in which Younha featured. To honor Younha’s 10^th debut anniversary, Tablo, the writer and producer of the original “Umbrella,” gifted her with a solo version that is fitting for the singer’s vocal color.

Meanwhile, Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips” and g.o.d’s “Sky Blue Promise” have also been ranking high on music charts.
