Park Min Woo in Talks to Play the Lead Role in New SBS Drama "Modern Farmer"
Actor Park Min Woo, who has gained great popularity thanks to the entertaining reality show “Roommate,” is being considered for the lead role in SBS’ upcoming weekend mini series “Modern Farmer.”
A representative revealed, “After receiving a casting call and having a talk, Park Min Woo has decided to take on the role. Although he is yet to sign the contract, he is discussing the final details with the producer. Unless something unexpected happens, he will appear in the drama.”
The actor’s agency King Kong Entertainment confirmed the news, “It is true that he is in final stages of discussing his role with the producers.”
“Modern Farmer” will tell the story of a rock band that returns to farming after an experiment in music. The entertaining comedy is written by Kim Ki Ho (tvN’s “Roller Coaster” and “Blue Tower“) and led by PD Oh Jin Suk.
As previously reported, FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki is also in talks to join the drama, and a female lead is expected to engage in a love triangle with the two male stars.
“Modern Farmer” will start airing in mid-October.
