Wonder Girls' Ye Eun and Yoobin in Talks for 2014 "JYP Nation - One Mic" Concert

According to a music industry official on July 9, Wonder Girls members Ye Eun and Yoobin are in talks to participate in the “2014 JYP Nation – One Mic” concert that will take place in Seoul August 9-10. Member Hyerim is currently filming the Korea-China collaborative film “탁혼연맹” (“拆婚联盟” – An official English title for her movie has yet to be released), and will not be attending the JYP Nation concert.

While the whole team would not be attending, the participation of even two of the Wonder Girls members is important, as with their hits “Tell Me,” “Nobody,” and “So Hot,” they are a representative group of JYP. Moreover, members Sunye, Ye Eun, and Yoobin renewed their contracts with JYP earlier this year, further indicative of their strong position within the agency.

A JYP representative confirmed that some Wonder Girls members are discussing their participation in the agency’s concert. “As there is still some time left before the concert, we are leaving open various possibilities.”

The 2014 “JYP Nation – One Mic” concert, the third JYP Nation concert since 2010 and 2012, will be held in Seoul, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Other artists in attendance include Park Jin Young, 2AM, 2PM, miss A, Sunmi, Baek A Yeon, and 15&, among others.
