FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki and Actors Park Min Woo and Lee Si Un All Confirmed to Star in “Modern Farmer”
Three of the male lead roles for upcoming SBS weekend drama “Modern Farmer” (working title) have confirmed their casting: FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki, as well as actors Park Min Woo (“Roommate”) and Lee Si Un (“Reply 1997”).
Earlier, it was reported that Lee Hong Ki was considering an offer to act in the new drama, and the casting has recently been confirmed, along with Park Min Woo and Lee Si Un.
Lee Hong Ki is set to play the character of Lee Min Ki, a genius rocker, as well as leader, vocalist, and guitarist of a rock band called Ex-So (Excellent Souls). Park Min Woo will be playing the role of Kang Hyuk, the keyboardist of the band, while Lee Si Un will be acting as the band’s bass guitarist, Yoo Han Chul. It is also said that Lee Hong Ki and Park Min Woo will be involved in a love triangle with the lead female.
Expectations are rising for this drama with the confirmation of these three well-received actors. “Modern Farmer” is a comedy drama with a storyline that is focused on the concept of the funny yet sad lives of members in a rock band that make up their minds to start up farming as an escape route. The drama is scheduled to air its first episode on October 18, following the end of “Glorious Day” on SBS.
