Block B Drops Quirky Teaser Image for “H.E.R”
Boy band Block B has uploaded a new teaser photo to its official Facebook site ahead of the forthcoming release of the group’s new mini album. The image gives fans a sneak peek at the concept for the album’s lead single, “H.E.R,” which is set to become available for pre-order, along with the rest of the album, on July 15.
The photo arrives hot on the heels of another Facebook teaser image, released at the weekend, which revealed the mini album’s track list. The new image is a highly-edited, slightly cartoonish picture which depicts the boys with comically large heads against a hot pink background.
Member Zico wrote both the lyrics and music for “H.E.R,” and co-produced the entire album.
Block B fans have had to endure a lengthy wait for a comeback from the seven-piece group, as their original comeback date had been set for April. This date was pushed back in the wake of the Sewol ferry disaster, however, after which a whole host of K-pop comebacks and new releases were put on hold.
A pre-release track from the album, “Jackpot,” will drop on July 18.
