Rainbow’s Jisook, Noeul, and Hyunyoung Go Classic in Big Issue Photo Shoot

Rainbow members Jisook, Noeul, and Hyunyoung have been featured in a photo shoot for Big Issue Korea magazine. The three singers shed the group’s trademark girlish image to pose in a set of black and white images, wearing more classic and formal clothes than most fans are used to seeing them in.

A member of the photo shoot production team told the media that the girls were comfortable posing for this more mature look. The source said, “We saw a new aspect to Rainbow at the shoot. They shed their pretty, cute image for this project, and the results were great. They had a great attitude, and it meant that everything went very smoothly indeed.”

Hyunyoung has had a busy 2014 so far. She was involved in sub-unit Rainbow Blaxx’s mini album release in January, and also recently recorded a song for the soundtrack of drama “Vampire Flower.” Jisook has also contributed to a drama OST this year, recording a track for the series, “Can We Love?”

The most recent full-group release was the “Rainbow Syndrome Part 2” album, which dropped in May of last year.
