Yuna Kim and Jeon Min Joo to Join New Girl Group, Debut Planned for August

Audition show stars Yuna Kim and Jeon Min Joo have been recruited to a new girl group being put together by talent agency musicK Entertainment. Yuna Kim shot to fame as part of the Mnet show “Superstar K3,” while Jeon Min Joo found popularity on SBS program “K-Pop Star 2,” where she earned the nickname “Little BoA.” 

Speaking to media outlet Star News, a musicK Entertainment representative explained, “Yuna Kim, Jeon Min Joo, and three other girls will take part in the new project. We are planning to have the group release a digital single album sometime in August.”

The identities of the three other members of the gourp have not yet been revealed, nor has the name of the new group. Meanwhile, Jeon Min Joo is set to go ahead with her debut solo release, “Good Bye Rain,” which will drop on July 15. You can check out the teaser for that track here.
