Jang Yoo Jung and Do Kyung Wan Couple to Leave “Superman Returns”

Jang Yoon Jung and Do Kyung Wan couple, who joined as special members of KBS‘ hit variety program “Superman Returns“, will be stepping down from the show on August 10 after an eight-episode run.

They first appeared on the show on June 22. The show started two weeks before Jang Yoon Jung gave birth to their child, leading up to the birth, which was shown on July 6. The image of Do Kyung Wan and Jang Yoon Jung crying at the sight of their first child brought many viewers to tears as well.

The remaining four episodes of the couple and their new baby will show Do Kyung Wan adjust to his new life as a father.

The July 13 episode of “Superman Returns” came in at a 11.8% rating according to Nielsen, highest of the Sunday time slot.
