Reggae Artist SKULL Returns with First Full Album in 10 Years,

Korea’s original reggae artist SKULL has returned to the music scene with the release of his first official album, “KING O’ IRIE” on July 17.

Taking its name from the Jamaican for “King of Reggae Culture,” SKULL’s “KING O’ IRIE” contains a total of 14 tracks that are composed, produced, and written by SKULL himself, showing his sincerity and dedication to his own music. This is the artist’s first full length solo Skull albumalbum in ten years.

The music videos for his songs “I’m Getting Married” and “DEH PON TOP” were also simultaneous released on July 16, a day before the digital release of the album.

“I’m Getting Married,” features Yoojin of The Seeya wherein the two sing of the feelings of two former lovers who have to let go of each other because the girl is getting married to somebody else already.

Hit makers Brave Brothers worked earnestly for a long time on the track “I’m Getting Married” which they made for SKULL whom they have become friends with during their time in YG Entertainment.

In “DEH PON TOP,” the reggae singer sings of his strong will to make it in the music business to make his parents proud.

SKULL, who has made his debut in 2003 under YG Entertainment, has released singles and EPs previously. In 2007, his single, “Boo Di Boom Di” made the Billboard Top 10 chart, showing his skill as a reggae artist. In 2013, he collaborated with HaHa on two single albums.
