HyunA Sheds Tears While Talking About Her Family on “Free Month”

On the very first broadcast of SBS MTV’s “HyunA’s Free Month” on July 21, 4Minute member HyunA unveiled her everyday natural and unfiltered appearance for viewers.

During the broadcast, HyunA ended up shedding tears while sharing stories about her family late at night. She talked about how heartbreaking it was to watch her younger brother carefully choose a pair of soccer cleats after repeatedly looking at the same pair, instead of just buying it.

Then, HyunA talked about her mom and family saying, “It’s probably difficult for my mom to spend even 10 thousand won (~$10 USD), but I’m able to buy nice things. I eat good food and wear nice clothes all by myself. I want to work hard so that my family can also enjoy the same nice things that I do.”

She also shared, “I think about my family when I’m having a hard time. I feel like I gain superhuman strength when I think of my family.

HyunA’s very own reality show, “Free Month,” follows the 4Minute member as she goes about her daily life, and will also be showing the process of preparing for her third solo mini album “A TALK,” to which she contributed a great deal—from songwriting to styling.
