MC Mong Is Preparing to Make His Long-Awaited Comeback This Fall!

It has been reported that rapper MC Mong is currently preparing to make his long-awaited return to the music scene once again!

On July 24, a representative of the rapper’s agency, Wellmade Yedang, told Star News, “MC Mong is planning to release a new album around September or October.”

The rep continued, “However, an exact comeback schedule has not been decided. So far, there are no plans to go on broadcast, and the album will be released both online and offline.”

Earlier this year in May, news of MC Mong signing an exclusive contract with Wellmade Yedang was officially announced. MC Mong has not released a new album since 2009, with his fifth album “Humanimal,” which means this upcoming comeback will be the rapper’s first in about five years.

Back in 2010, MC Mong was accused of purposely extracting his tooth in order to receive exemption from mandatory military service. Although he was found to be not guilty in 2012, the rapper made a decision to take a break from the industry to stay out of the spotlight for the time being.
