Details of JYJ's Upcoming Army Enlistment Are Still Unconfirmed

During the press conference and showcase held at the COEX Exhibition Hall in Gangnam, Seoul last August 3, the press had the chance to ask JYJ one of the hottest questions that are thrown the group’s way recently–the details of their upcoming enlistment to the military.

JYJ members Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, and Kim Junsu, who are all in their late 20s and are expected to fulfill their military duty soon, revealed at the press conference that their 2nd album, “JUST US” will be their last album before they enter the military.

However, before the members of JYJ were able to answer the question regarding their military enlistment, a representative from their agency answered in detail on behalf of the group. “They still haven’t received the exact enlistment date from the Military Manpower Administration that’s why it is reported in the news that their enlistment is still “to be scheduled.” The Military Manpower Administration has requested us to refrain from talking about the matter,” the representative said.

“There is still no confirmation about the date when the members will be entering the military,” the representative emphasized and then asked for understanding from the press because they cannot give a definite answer yet regarding the military service of the boys.

Meanwhile, JYJ has held their 2014 JYJ Membership Week from July 31 until August 3. The group, who has recently made their comeback with their 2nd album, “JUST US,” has pre-sold 120,000 copies of their album and is receiving positive response from the public. The group will embark on an Asian concert tour beginning on August 9 in Seoul.
