“Bleak Night” Stars Lee Je Hoon and Seo Jun Young Reunited with New Drama “Secret Door”
On August 2, actor Seo Jun Young posted a selca of him and colleague Lee Je Hoon on his Twitter with the caption, “It’s been a while since we’ve been in front of the same camera. Long time no see. I’ll start and you can finish it well…Your Highness.” These actors will be starring in the new SBS Monday-Tuesday drama “Secret Door.” This isn’t the first time these two handsome actors have been working together, as they have also starred in the 2010 movie, “Bleak Night,” where they both got the chance to let their names be known to a wider audience as new actors.
From the photo fans can see that their friendship still remains the same. And they both look very happy to be reunited after three years, especially since Lee Je Hoon has been absent for two years due to his military service.
The drama “Secret Door” will take place during King Yeongjo’s reign, and the plot will revolve around the death of his son, Crown Prince Sa Do. In a time where there was much tension between the father and son, the drama will be a reinterpretation of the political and personal relationships that revolve around the issue of whether Joseon will continue to live under one King or live in a world where everyone will live as equals. Due to its interesting storyline, “Secret Door” has been gathering a lot of attention even before production, and the topic of who will play the leading roles has been a hot issue of interest among drama viewers.
Apart from Seo Jun Young and Lee Je Hoon, actor Han Suk Gyu and actress Kim Yoo Jung have also been cast into the drama. The first episode of “Secret Door” has been set to be released this coming September.
