Kim Tae Woo to Lend His Voice for First “The Night Watchman” Soundtrack

On August 5, Kim Tae Woo will release the first soundtrack for the MBC drama “The Night Watchman.” The song is called “Because It’s You,” and it expresses gratitude to a lover that chose them (in the point of view of the singer) among all of the people in the world.

The song enhances Kim Tae Woo’s soft yet unique voice. His serenade is expected to bring about the emotions of nervousness and bliss that lovers experience in the beginning of a relationship. The news of a new soundtrack by Kim Tae Woo is raising a lot of expectations since he has sung for many hit dramas including “A Gentleman’s Dignity,” “The Feast of the Gods,” and “Personal Taste” among others.

Meanwhile, “The Night Watchman” is a fantasy drama that takes place in the Joseon era. It revolves around the political tension between those who dismiss the existence of ghosts, those who take advantage of ghosts, and those who get rid of ghosts. Main leads are played by Jung Il Woo, TVXQ’s Yunho, Seo Ye Ji, and Go Sung Hee, and of course a romantic plot twist is also expected to occur between them. “The Night Watchman” airs on Mondays and Tuesdays on MBC.
