JYJ, HyunA and HA:TFELT Respond to Songs Being Banned by KBS

Following the release of a list of songs banned by broadcast company KBS, singers JYJ, HyunA, and HA:TFELT (Ye Eun) have revealed their stances on the issue.

JYJ’s agency C-JeS Entertainment commented, “We are thinking of altering the lyrics, but if the story begins to drift away from our intended one, we will go with the original song.” KBS ruled JYJ’s “Back Seat” unfit for broadcast due to its suggestive message.

Representing HyunA, Cube Entertainment revealed their decision to stay firm, “We have produced two versions of ‘Blacklist,’ one for broadcast and one original, but we are not planning to reconsider the lyrics of ‘French Kiss.'”

Neither was HA:TFELT (Ye Eun)’s agency JYP Entertainment shaken by the news. A representative commented, “As ‘Bond‘ is unlikely to be promoted on TV, we have no plans to change the lyrics.”

Earlier today, KBS banned a total of 14 recently released songs, explaining the lyrics might hinder the healthy development of teens.
