Yoo Jae Suk’s New Show “I’m a Man” Not Doing as Well as Expected, Last in Viewer Ratings

KBS 2TV’s new variety program “I’m a Man,” hosted by the nation’s MC Yoo Jae Suk, recorded a slight decline in viewer ratings for this week’s broadcast.

According to Nielsen Korea on August 16, the August 15 episode of “I’m a Man” recorded ratings of 4.2% nationwide. This is a slight drop from the previous week’s rating of 5.2% on August 8, which was the show’s very first broadcast following its addition to KBS’ regular program lineup.

While Yoo Jae Suk is actively leading other popular shows including MBC’s “Infinity Challenge” and SBS’ “Running Man,” it appears that it may take a bit more time for “I’m a Man” to solidify its format and grab viewers’ interest. However, we may still be able to look forward to an increase in viewer ratings into the future, as the show has only aired its first two episodes so far.

Meanwhile, during the same time slot, MBC’s “I Live Alone” brought in 8.6% in viewer ratings, while SBS’ “Oot Chat Sa” recorded ratings of 5.1%.
