Orange Caramel Goes Bananas in “My Copycat” Music Video

Girl group Orange Caramel has dropped the music video for its new single, “My Copycat.” The track, the After School subunit’s fourth single, comes about five months since the girls’ last release, “Catallena.”

As previous teasers had seemed to suggest, the video is very playful, and blends concepts from retro video games, children’s songs and a “Where’s Waldo/Wheres Wally?” theme. The girls are also shown dancing in a wide assortment of typically eccentric outfits. And, for fans of Orange Caramel’s fun food themes, there are also piles and piles of bananas to be seen throughout.

The song follows suit, with upbeat electronica themes that are very reminiscent of 1980s and 1990s video games.

Interspersed with the light-hearted action are clips of the girls’ dance moves. A spokesperson for Pledis Entertainment, the group’s talent agency, told the media, “The dance moves are really easy to copy. Just about anyone can learn them, no matter what their gender or age may be.”
