Actor Ryu Seung Soo Reveals He Had Endured a Panic Disorder for the past 24 Years

Actor Ryu Seung Soo appeared on SBS’s variety show  “Healing Camp” and talked about the panic disorder he had endured for the past 24 years. 

During the episode, he revealed that at just 20 years old, he fainted due to a heart disease and had to go to the hospital by ambulance every week after that incident. He said, “I was so scared and because of that, I acquired a panic disorder. I was going through such a hard time. I wanted to die.”

He also talked about how when the drama Winter Sonata became immensely popular in Japan, he could not attend many events alongside his co-workers because the disorder made him panic too much and made him to become too scared to go on the plane.
