BTOB's Yook Sungjae Was Cast for "Plus Nine Boys" Thanks to His Handsome Looks

Yoo Hak Chan PD of tvN’s “Plus Nine Boys” has revealed the reason for casting male group BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae for the upcoming drama.

On August 25, the drama held its official press conference at the Imperial Palace Hotel located in Gangnam, Seoul.

When asked to share his thoughts on the charismatic cast, Yoo Hak Chan PD praised the BTOB member’s looks, “Yook Sung Jae is seriously handsome. He is well aware of it too.”

“He has a Western facial structure that is rare in Korea. I chose him based on his looks,” the PD laughed, and added, “As for his acting, I saw him on ‘Reply 1994‘ as Sook Sook.”

“Plus Nine Boys” a romantic drama that follows the lives of four men aged 9, 19, 29 and 39. The drama will premiere on August 29.
