Kim Hyun Joong Summoned for Testimony, Expected to Take Place in Early September

Kim Hyun Joong, who has recently been charged for alleged assault and battery by his girlfriend “A”, has been summoned for testimony.

On August 26, the Seoul Songpa Police Office, who are responsible for handling the case, revealed that Kim Hyun Joong has been called in for questioning. While the exact date is currently unconfirmed, the questioning will take place in the beginning of September.

A representative of the police commented, “After pressing charges on the 20th, the plaintiff has finished giving her testimony, but the accused is yet to be questioned. Kim Hyun Joong will be summoned in the beginning of next week.”

With both sides of the case having contrasting opinions, Kim Hyun Joong has expressed his interest in speeding up the process by going in for the testimony as soon as possible.

As the singer is scheduled to hold a concert in China on August 30, his agency has requested to hold the questioning before the end of this week, but no confirmed news of the exact date have been released.
