Ailee Scoops Prize at Korea Creation Culture Art Awards

Solo star Ailee has bagged the Grand Prix prize in the K-pop section at the 2014 Korea Creation Culture Arts Awards. The singer was presented with the prize at a ceremony held on August 30 at the National Assembly Memorial Hall in the Yeouido district of Seoul.

This is only the second time that the awards ceremony has been held, and other recipients this year included ballad singer Shin Hyo Bum and Trot singer Park Sang Chul, as well as other stars from the world of sport and modeling.

Meanwhile, Ailee is set to appear in the latest edition of SBS entertainment show “Running Man,” along with other guest stars such as Kim Tae Woo and Lee Sung Jae. Ailee has also recently released a duet track with rapper Swings, entitled “A Real Man.”
