Super Junior's Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Block B's Taeil, miss A's Suzy, and Numerous Others Express Their Support for Ladies' Code

Following the spread of devastating news about girl group Ladies’ Code member EunB tragically passing away and members Sojung and Rise sustaining serious injuries due to a car accident, numerous idols have offered their condolences as well as expressed their support for the group.

Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun, who fought for his life in 2007 after being involved in a serious traffic accident, wrote on his Twitter, “The incident does not feel unfamiliar. People who are reading this, please pray with me. I hope that the members undergoing surgery will have only good news for us.”

Fellow Super Junior member Ryeowook wrote, “She was a pretty junior with bright greetings.. My heart hurts, please pray for her. May she rest in peace. Fellow group members are probably having the hardest time. Everyone, please support them a lot. And many busy managers are struggling to organize schedules. Please drive safe.”

miss A‘s Suzy expressed through her Twitter, “Rest in peace. My heart hurts so much. I pray for the other members’ rapid recovery.”

Block B‘s Taeil revealed his thoughts, “I greeted her just a few hours before [the accident].. Horrifying and also very unfortunate. Rest in peace. I hope the injured will recover quickly.”

Jaehyo of Block B wrote about his close relationship with Sojung, saying, “She was excited about her birthday the next day, so I promised to surprise her with a cake. The image of her walking to the car is constantly popping into my mind, and it is so heart-wrenching. Some members are already out of surgery, and looking at the news, I see that Sojung has returned to a conscious state. Please pray once more for their recovery.”

Singer Eru also touched on a larger problem lying underneath the hectic schedules, saying, “If scheduled must be pushed to the limit, you should also pay extra attention to them. The safety of those driving the company is more important than schedules. No matter how annoying it can be, it is necessary to check the driver and the car’s condition whenever driving. This is to the managers working in the Korean entertainment industry.” The next tweet says, “Ah.. So unfortunate. May she rest in peace.”

Today is also the birthday of Sojung, who is reportedly in stable condition after undergoing surgery to treat her injuries. She was born on September 3, 1993.
