Bae Jong Ok Joins the Cast Of "Roommate"

On September 12, representatives for veteran actress Bae Jong Ok announced that she will join the cast of the SBS variety program “Good Sunday–Roommate.” According to the same report, she will film her first episode for the show in the near future.

Bae Jong Ok debuted after appearing in a 1985 KBS talent show. In addition to her 30 years of acting experience, she also received a doctorate from Korea University. She recently appeared on JTBC’s drama “Wild Chives and Soy Bean Soup: 12 Years Reunion.” With the exception of a one person talk show, this will be her first appearance on a variety program, and viewers are eagerly anticipating her active participation.

With her addition to the cast, “Roommate Season 2’s” cast will add a total of six new members to the show. Aside from Bae Jong Ok, g.o.d’s Park Joon Hyung, Girls Generation’s Sunny, Got7’s Jackson, Japanese actor Rye Hei Otani, and gag woman Lee Kook Joo will also join, forming one family with existing members Lee Dong Wook, Seo Kang Joon, Park Min Woo, Jo Se Ho, and Nana.

“Roommate Season 2” will begin on September 21.
